![]() ![]() When I pressed further, undaunted by the Spanish both employees shouted at me (Habló Español), I was told that Carl's Jr. ![]() is open, another employee informed me that store closing time had changed due to COVID. When I attempted to clarify the actual hours that this Carl's Jr. I was finally able to get my dinner by ordering through Yelp, only to have the cashier who had previously ignored me begrudgingly unlock the front door to thrust me my pick-up order. I'm also confused why the late-night drive-thru is limited to those with transportation, since this seems unrelated to employee safety and solely serves to increase DUI's. The few times I've utilized the drive-thru from my vehicle, I've always received the wrong items and also been over-charged.Īs much as I want to support vegan options at local restaurants (erm, regardless of whether they're a corporate chain), Carl's Jr. You must be in a car to place and pick up your order. Tonight, I swung by at about 9:15PM, starved (.why else cave to fast food?) only to discover that ONLY the drive-thru is open.īased on a prior experience here, closer to 10PM, customers are unable to walk through the drive-thru. Hours posted do not reflect actual restaurant hours. Still, it's worth a try just skip the cheese sauce. I don't know if that's standard but it looks nothing like the advertised food item on their menu and if it's not standard they shouldn't have served it. I didn't even realize it was cheese when I first ate it because it was the consistency of mashed potatoes. I'd have given it a 4 but they gave me some of the most disgusting "cheese sauce" I've ever had on top of my curly fries. I do like the creativity of the meal though, not something I'd ever consider putting together but it sorta works. The sweet chicken was delicious and portions were huge so it wasn't all bad but, the pasta and veggie crack were just alright. ![]() I ended up getting the sweet chicken plate with pasta and veggie crack. I was super excited to get a plate with root beer beef, frito mac and chi, and some tomato mozz on the side but that wasn't an option anymore. It was a little disappointing looking up the online menu then coming in to find the in store menu is different and half the items aren't available. Would I drive all the way to Hollywood for this? No, but I definitely would hit it up if we were in and around Hollywood again! Well it’s pretty pricey for a pizza, with a whole pizza running about $28. Heating it up made the cheese super pulley and indulgent, while the crust was thin and crisp. Honestly, this pizza was pretty magnificent. We shared a pepperoni slice ($4.25) they’re all around that price mark depending on the toppings. Within minutes you’ll be awarded with a hot piece of ‘za. Once ordered, you’ll be able to watch as they grab your order and toss it right into the large ovens behind them. You work your way into the line where you’ll see the great display of wheels all for your choosing. Like a basic takeout pizza spot, you have a few window bar seats with some tables along the wall. Like the sheeple we are, we chose the spot that had the biggest crowd. On a quick evening adventure out by Hollywood, we decided on parking and walking down the strip to see what goodies we’d be able to find. ![]() We would definitely recommend this spot to any ramen lovers or Hollywood Boulevard tourists looking for a quick lunch spot. Jinya had impeccably fast and attentive service–the ramen was ready in less than 10 minutes. The ramen was well portioned, and the chunks of atsuage tofu within the soup were especially tasty and filling. The ramen was incredibly flavorful, delightfully garlic-y, and had a spicy kick. Additionally, we added ginger, garlic, and sesame seeds on top of the dish. We got a the spicy vegan dan dan men ramen, and paired the dish with a melograno & arancia Sanpellegrino beverage. Customers can opt to customize their own bowls with a vast variety of broths, toppings and noodle options or can order Jinya's specialties. Upon ordering, my friendly server politely informed me of any cross-contamination possibilities to accustom my dietary preferences. Jinya also features several vegan and vegetarian options. With a variety of Japanese rice bowls, ramen, and salads, customers of Jinya are met with a pleasantly varied selection. Jinya Ramen's lofty view above Hollywood Boulevard is only a precursor to the delicious food thats awaits customers inside. ![]()
